Winding does not stay after expand.

I draw something with a gap and turn on winding to close the gap. Then I go and use any kind of distortion from layer menu. After I expand the result - winding turns off and I have to turn on it again manually.

Yeah, I can’t see any advantages of such feature. So I really hope it can be either explained or fixed

Say I want to copy or cut an object and paste it inside another object. Everything works the way it should except the menu does not disappear (the way it does when I use Paste or Paste Style) and I have to close it manually.
