  1. Just an update, Ive found this also occuring when using the smart selection brush also (upon lifting the apple pencil and thus ceasing further selection). As shown between the two images, it is fine until the moment of having released. It does indeed also occur with the non polygonal lasso. Adjusting the DPI from 72 to 150 seemed to stop the issue from happening.
  2. I tended to do so in V1 as I found that the tapping afforded by the Polygon Lasso was pretty nifty when used in combination with the ability to drag, effectively breaking down some more complex selections. It meant being able to undo them or having certain checkpoints so to speak. Id never really had that issue in at all in V1. ill give the freehand mode specifically a try from now on out of curiousity (I know there are simple alternatives like using the add selection button which can achieve ultimately the same outcome. Someone above did comment they they use free selection and it still occurs to them so I’ll report back if it happens to me. I have found a few wierd issues with V2 since using it (every so often i have to pinch zoom in or out because a recently drawn raster brush layer disappears until forcing a screen update for example) and as well as a previous issue id raised (magnifying occurring when altering perspective, causing the app to experience frequent pauses), so I feel regardless the issue occuring on the Polygonal Tool is still worth raising (especially if it is in fact to do with the tool itself) so it can oerhaps be picked up on and potentially be fixed.
  3. @LeeThorpe Sorry for the delay. Is this sufficient? IMG_4917.MOV
  4. Probably a nice trick to try. The main reasons I use the polygon lasso tool are because I use add and subtract functions to refine larger ‘selection brush’ selections, and because the polygonal part has always been quite flexible in allowing you to both manually drag complex areas, and then either pause if you need to readjust your hand and/or select large straight areas the intended way. That said i don’t know if my own hybrid use of it is part of the problem thats occuring (but again, never had it happen previously on V1 and has always worked great for my purposes)
  5. Hi, I’m not sure if this has been reported previously (I can see other threads relating to issues with the lasso tool but they seem more related to crashing). Ive noticed two particular issues for a while now with V2 that werent present previously in V1: At times when using the polygon lasso tool, i have experienced an issue where ive carefully selected the outline of an object, sometimes a whole stack of unrelated pixels will also become selected in a weird rectangular like shape. I wish i could demonstrate but its hard to replicate, only happening occasionally. Have experienced an additional issue as of today where selecting with the same tool (lasso polygon setting) does ‘select sn object’ but the marching ants arent updated right away, requiring me to first zoom in and out to forcibly update the display. Has anyone else experienced similar?
  6. Hi, as I raised in a seperate post, the magnifying slowdown also occurs using a perception filter and dragging those nodes too, so id figure it may affect other tools that have that magnifying effect also.
  7. Hi, im not sure if this classifies as a bug or not. When using the perspective tool and dragging the corners on my M1 Ipad, the app seems bring up a small magnifiying circle and (as a result) theres’s constant pauses when this occurs making use of the tool very painful. Ive tried aearching settings in case there is a setting im missing that might remove that magnifying functionality but couldnt find anything. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this issue and or could recommend how to avoid it. Otherwise id just like to bring it to attention. I feel like this might have been an issue moreso sonce V2 as i dont remember V1 having the same problem. Ive attached a photo to show what i mean though obviously doesnt capture the performance issues.. EDIT: When i test movements quick enough to avoid the magnifying assist from appearing it works as intended. So it def seems to be that which is causing the issue with the tools performance.
  8. I have found a few times now when selecting the Feather Selection option (within the selections button on the top toolbar) that if i drag the pixel amount slider too far, then try to lower it, that the whole app will suddenly crash. In the most recent instance, perhaps because I’d only begun roughly two minutes prior, I essentially lost all my progress as none of it saved.
