  1. The Retina Rendering fixes it. It was set to automatic, but if I change it to low quality or high quality I don't have this issue, which seems odd because I would suspect that automatic would chose either of those for me based on some metrics, but perhaps it witches between them for a split second every time I type something. I kept the rendering on WARP, though I did mess with this setting before submitting this thread and it didn't work for me. I don't remember if WARP was the default before I messed with it back then though. It might be handy for the developers to mention that this is a laptop with 2 gpu's and the rendering option gives me 5 options. Ill attach a screenshot just in case it makes a difference.
  2. Hi, Can we pretty pretty please have a find/replace where you only search through the selected items instead of the whole document? Its the only thing I really miss from indesign so far. edit. Forgot to add: In publisher.
  3. Hi. This problem occurs since the first release of publisher 2, but I'm not sure if it was in version 1.x too. Anyways, if I have a textframe linked (flowed?) to another textframe and I type in it, everything in the document goes blurry for a second before returning to normal. It looks like it goes to a low resolution preview before switching back to a high resolution preview. This is for the elements in the document only, not for the UI elements. I did some experimenting after noticing that the problem does not occur on my external screen (asus zenscreen, usb c, full hd resolution) and found out the problem only occurs if I have my screen in 2560X1600 resolution (native resolution for my laptop). If I put my laptop screen in 1920X1080 resolution the problem does NOT occur, which leads me to suspect theres something funky going on for that particular resolution. Are you using the latest release version? Im on version 2.0.3 Can you reproduce it? yes. Link text frames and it happens (on 2560X1600 resolution) Does it happen for a new document? If not can you upload a document that shows the problem? yes If you cannot provide a sample document then please give an accurate description of the problem for example it should include most of the following: What is your operating system and version (Windows 11, OSX Ventura, iOS 16 etc)? Up to date windows 11 Is hardware acceleration (in Preferences > Performance) ON or OFF ? (and have you tried the other setting?) Tried both, the problem persists What happened for you (and what you expected to happen) See above Provide a recipe for creating the problem (step-by-step what you did). Link 2 (or more) textframes and type in them Screenshots (very handy) or a screen capture/video. Currently not set up to make a screenrecording Any unusual hardware (like tablets or external monitors or drives that may affect things) or relevant other applications like font managers or display managers. Problem persists if I unplug my second monitor. Nothing weird otherwise. Did this same thing used to work and if so have you changed anything recently? (software or hardware) It happens since at least the first release of version 2
