@Lee_T - what happened after reporting this as a bug? I just have given up my hopes of affinity software ever getting any features or fixes the community actually needs. Iam happy about everything these programs are able to do (which is a lot) but I dont wait for anything new. Kind of frustrating tbh. Maybe it would help to have paid upgrades more regularly to speed up development a bit? I really wouldnt mind paying a bit more for these wonderful tools, especially since iam currently still feeding adobe along as well. I would be happy if that cash could go somewhere *better* ;)

how comes that something that simple is still a bug after YEARS? Am I the only one struggling with this? How are other people entering decimal values into any of the Affinity Apps Fields?

Sorry it might not have been clear enough: writing points and commas within text fields or art text is no issue. But using the point or comma key for entering decimal values within the interface is: see the attached screenshot.

Yes please! It is requested for sooo long now and i cant get my mind around why its still missing. Might be the single most feature I really wanted to see in V2.

This. As it was in V1. Its still as annoying and compromising any workflows on ipads with a physical keyboard. I cant enter any decimal values without touching the screen. What happens: if you want to enter a decimal value with a physical keyboard on the ipad, the comma and period keys return no value but ( null). Please fix the input for Keyboards, so that you finally can use the period and comma keys for entering decimal values (and while you‘re at it; if theres a physical keyboard the on-screen numpad can stay where it was: hidden )

This issue still persist in V2 and is really annoying! I cant enter any comma values anywhere neither with an apple Magic Keyboard nor any other keyboard. Useless to say that the comma and point keys do work in all other applications. Just in all affinity apps they‘re returning (null). I honestly feel a bit betrayed. I loved buying the V2 and i would as well like to buy a new version every other year for the price your calling - but there has to be any significant improvements! I really cant see or feel any changes that make the jump from 1.9 to 2.0 any more significant than from 1.9.1 to 1.9.2 Maybe thats the point where i start to encourage subscription models if that supports a steady progress.
