  1. I have a document with facing pages, 2 page spreads. I am trying to set up guides in Master Pages. The Masters look OK. But in the document the vertical ruler guides appear OK on the left page but not the right page. 1. Create a Master Page with the ruler guides. 2. Create a Left Master page with the left footer. Apply the Master page. Looks OK. All guides show. 3. Create a Right Master page with the right footer. Apply the Master page. Looks OK. All guides show. 4. In the doc, Apply the Left Master page to the left page of the spread. All good. Guides and footer OK. 5. In the doc, Apply the right Master page to the right page of the spread. Horizontal guides and footer are good. But the vertical ruler guides do not display. 6. I'm attaching a test file so you can see. You can know the Right master page got applied because it has the footer text aligned right. 7. Yes, it's repeatable. I've tried two different files and deleting/redoing the master pages, etc. Same thing. Thanks for your help. I just started with Affinity from InDesign yesterday. It's driving me a bit crazy. I've read all the docs but I can't watch videos now. OK more problems. The recapcha verification times out before I'm finished. The file won't upload .afpub 17kb. on iMac running Monterey. Latest version of Affinity publisher 2 2.0.0 Trying screenshots. Same thing. "There was a problem uploading the file." These are tiny files! Please help!!!! Linda PS. Submitted and it forces me to create an account. OK. Trying file upload again now that I have a verified Forum account. OK File uploaded. Very happy about that. I understand about security, hacks and bots, etc. But I'm a new user on the Trial, very eager to switch from Indesign. Does it really have to be so hard? Could it just say you have to create a forum account before you can upload files? And maybe have the recaptura box below just above the submit. Then I would do it last and not have the 5 timeouts.
