  1. I'm not sure why I'm seeing a screenshot of somebody else's purchase or email account in my post here, btw. I didn't add that and I can't seem to edit it out. Edit...nevermind, I was able to remove it.
  2. I originally tried to resolve this issue back in this thread: I never did have any luck. Back then, there was no way at all to get around the issue with App Store - purchased V2 products. I initially purchased a V2 Universal license in Photo, clicked on the option to create an account and then was alerted that I already had an account when I entered my email address. That's where everything went awry with no way back, no way to associate the purchase to my account and no way to restore purchases (restore was a static label, not a clickable control back then...I assume that may be fixed now since the ability to associate accounts was later added). I thought by initiating another purchase in Publisher, I'd get Apple's "You already bought this" prompt. It's unfortunate, but I've been playing that game with Apple for years now, especially with family purchases, hoping to find that I'm given that prompt and not actually charged since Apple doesn't have any way to pre-associate purchases already made before the point-of-sale. Anyway, they rejected my refund request so I've paid $200 for two Universal licenses. This may be a long shot, but is there any way that I can give one of these licenses to my daughter? She also wants them for her iPad but paying yet a third time is a hard wall for me to get over. Thanks, Lloyd
  3. I resolved it by paying the in-app purchase multiple times. I had hoped that Apple would refund the extra but no luck. I’m not happy about it but, at this point, I’m calling it my loss and giving up on it.
  4. I started out with my troubleshooting with this link: However, many of those steps don't seem to apply to at least the current version of the software. I ran into this state by doing as follows: I installed the V2 apps on my Mac (14" MacBook Pro, M1 Max, 32 GB RAM, 2 TB SSD). I purchased the V2 license in Affinity Photo V2 and tried to associate it with my account to use across devices. I incorrectly chose to create a new account. I entered my email address and was alerted that I already have an account. At this point, I was stuck. There's no way in the UI to go back and choose an existing account, instead. After closing the window, Affinity Photo V2 remains activated but unassociated with any account. The other software products (Publisher V2 and Designer V2) offer a "Restore Purchases" plain text item in the initial startup window but this truly appears to be plain text. It's not clickable. I tried purchasing the V2 license again from Affinity Publisher V2 and I was able to correctly associate my account and share it with Designer V2. However, I did pay twice. There was just no other way around this and Apple has rejected my request for a refund of the original Photo V2 Universal license. It seems like the activation UI flows in these products need some quick analysis and some defect fixing. I'm willing to just call the extra $99.99 a loss but it definitely leaves a bad taste.
