  1. Hi @Old Bruce, yes, by doing some tests I was coming to this soultion right now. I used the Data Merge Layout Tool and it work even with one row and one column positioned on any point of the pages, even if are different pages (one Data Merge layout of 1x1 with a single object inside). The only doubt is the order with which the software interprets them to fill them, but just do a generation test and move them accordingly before the last generation. Thank you.
  2. Hi @Komatös, I tryed without Master Pages, but with two pages (beacuse the data must be on a position in even page and another position on the odd page), the result is the same: even and odd page have the same record, and the final document have twice pages compared to the number of record in the source data file. I understand the logical reason behind this result, but I wonder if there is a solution. The right page must have the data in one position and the left one in another. You think I Can I reach this result in some way? Thank you.
  3. Hi @Komatös, thank you very much for your quickly support. I saw the video. Ok, I'll try twhitout the Master Pages. But about live preview on the actual document (and maybe even the use of this function on the Master Page), how do you think? It could not be useful for not recreating the entire document after complex changed to the generated file? Thanks.
  4. Hi all, I have two issue with Data Merge: the first is that I create a document with 10 pages with two master page, one for even and one for odd pages. Then I set the Data Merge fields in these two Master Pages, but when I go on preview I see the same data record on all the pages and when I export the document I get the same result. I seemed that this preview is only for a check, right? Doesn't better if it could load the data and display in live on the "custom" document instead of generate a new one? Could be very hard if a person must reload the entire data set in the generated target document after carrying out complex changes on this. Or there is another way to manage this scenario? Anyway meanwhile, I modified the document removing all the pages but two (each based on a master page, one for odd and one for even). Now when I "generate", the pages of the target document are doubled whith the data set doubled. I know that is because the Data Merge take the data one time and put in the fileds two times beacuse are doubled, but there is a way to tell that the fileds are connected and the genartion must "move" to the next record row when encounter the same field in the document? Or I must try another solution? I hope I explained myself well, sorry for bad english. Thanks.
