Thank you Paul. I was in the app on the swatches panel, but I was trying to import a pdf. Rookie mistake. Luckily I was able to do it with a document shared with me that was .afpalette. Which led me to more questions about what and how I can import in the app. I love how helpful this group is! 😊

Oh that’s great news! I’m using designer v2 for iPad on a trial.

Beyond creating a palette, is it possible to import other files into the iPad version of designer such as jpeg, png, svg etc? On the help section of the app it says these are supported file formats. When I am on the top toolbar and click on import files, all the files seem to be greyed out there too. Am I missing something? Or is this capability only available on the desktop version too? Thank you for your patience with all the questions!

Hi Walt and Jason, thank you so much for such a quick response! I realized from your question I was trying to import a color palette from a pdf. Someone did share it as .afpalette and it imported just fine. Which leads me to another question. How do I convert documents to compatible files for affinity? Is the desktop version needed for that? Hopefully that makes sense. Thank you so much again!

Hello. I am on a trial for V2 , iPad running OS 16. When I attempt to import a color palette from the swatches panel all of my files are greyed out. It does this for both application and document palette options. I have tried shutting down and restarting my iPad and the issue still exists. I have tried both iCloud files and those saved on iPad, all files are greyed out. I am able to import from within procreate so I don’t think it is an issue with my iPad. I am new to Affinity though so if I am missing something please feel free to suggest possible solution.
