Thanks for those replies. FirstDefence and Francois particularly helpful, to the point and confirmed what I anticipated. I use Windows defender and don't get many warnings so always very wary when I do. Serif always appeared to have been reliable for number of other applications in the past. Confident I can go ahead now - thanks again. -

On trying to download Affinity Photo (Windows) update 1.10.6 I get the following warning: Not sure what the implications are and the safest thing to do? I assume Affinity isn't going to harm my PC (I've been running it for a couple of years). Do I need to keep the .exe file or is this just a once use installation file which can be discarded after installing 1.10.6?
