  1. I've recently made a switch from Adobe to affinity but noticed big inconvenient differences when it comes to importing vectors/curves. I am struggling to find ways to "fill/paint" different geometries in affinity designer except there is no live paint tool or option available that will allow me to fill different geometries with specific swatches or colors. Even if I recreate closed geometries and reimport them, the only way I can fill geometries is be rasterizing them in affinity photo and brining it back to affinity designer. There is too much back and fourth for a simple live paint fill and the quality of this is not as great when vectors becomes rasterized for this to happen. On top of this, the option to create a clipping mask is a multistep process compared to that of adobe's single step for clipping mask and live paint options. I have been using adobe for almost 9 years now and find some functions in affinity incredibly difficult to access the program in ways I have done so in others. Out of the three programs affinity has under photo, designer and publisher, affinity designer is the least adaptable version I've encountered.
