Cannot Log into Account
in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

I am unable to log into my account. On lodging a support ticket I get the following instructions (after a long wait) - screen snap enclosed - which, as far as I can determine require me to log into my account before I can activate.
Is there something I am not understanding here?
