  1. Is this supposed to be working? I'm having a heckuva time building things without the ability to weld points. "Merge Curves" doesn't seem to be what I'm looking for.
  2. Odd. I can't always get that result here. Is it possible I'm applying the LUT wrong? I've used it successfully in another file now, but it doesn't work everywhere. What might stop it from working as intended?
  3. I must be applying the LUT incorrectly? In the attached file, I deselected the image layer -> Adjustments -> LUT... -> Load LUT. Opacity is 100%, and Blend Mode is Normal. LUT_test_01.afphoto
  4. I discovered that I had to pull the Gradient Map out to its own layer before the export Preview looked correct; however, the exported LUT doesn't seem to affect images at all when loaded into a LUT layer (100% opaque, Normal blend). Any ideas? Windows 11, Affinity Photo 2.2.1 Wall Mural Marshall LUT_01.cube
  5. Aha--thank you! I guess I expected a pencil. What about brush opacity? I have to go over areas more than once to properly cover them.
  6. Even drawing a single hard pixel is hard (haha). Seems to me that if Opacity is 100%, Flow is 100%, and Hardness is 100%, the default Basic brushes should apply fully opaque and pixelated aliased edges. I've tried changing Wet Edges to "Set wet edges 'off'" as well. Am I missing something basic?
  7. EDIT: i take it back. not sure what caused the change, but after i rasterized the image layer, Lock Children showed up (?) ---- i can't see lock children while the move tool is selected. there are no arrows at the end of the context bar. i'd really like to leave the mask where it is and just transform the contents.
  8. +100 new to the software, but clearly this ability is long overdue. is there a place where features can be recommended and upvoted? is there a way to add 3rd party functionality, extensions?
