Top Menu Bar Selection

I find it frustrating using the top bar selection for things like cursor and moving layers etc. Before, you could easily toggle between the settings quickly. Now, you have to click the main button, select a setting, click the main button, select another setting and so on. Then, when finished, you need to repeat the process. Is there a way to keep the main menu open and select multiple settings then click outside the menu or on the main menu button to close it? RPReplay_Final1670342559.MP4 Thanks

I hardly, if ever, use the joystick icon to do task in affinity designer on the iPad. Please allow a setting to always have it hidden when opening a document. It is annoying having to hide it every time and it gets in the way of the canvas. Thanks
