  1. I found the solution. Turn off iCloud Sync. Once I did that, BINGO, all was well in Wallyland. . . .thanx again for your support.
  2. Thanx MikeTO - When you talk about "linked images", just what are you referring to?
  3. Just installed New iMac (11-9-2023) 24 inch M3 chip, running Sonoma 14.1.1. Migrated all Affinity files from old iMac (ran V2.2.1 on old Mac with Monterey 12.7.1) and running V 2.2.1 on new iMac with Sonoma 14.1.1). Can load some AFF Designer files, others not. Get the killer "Loading 1 Document" message. I tried to load one file and left it open all night last night. This morning, the file was open. I didn't get a chance to save it as Affinity froze up. I Force Quit Aff, restarted it and tried loading the same file again. A few minutes later it appeared (opened) again. This time I did a SAVE AS and then closed it. I tried again to reopen it, and got the "Loading 1 Document" message again. Has there been a fix for this dilemma yet? All help appreciated. As I was sending this thread, the file opened again.
  4. Found solution to the space bar not working in Affinity. I, for reasons unknown, had turned on ENABLE FULL KEYBOARD ACCESS in System Preferences, Accessibility, Keyboard, Navigation . . .. shame on me. When I unchecked it, wala, all became well in the world again 😊. Thanx for all who helped!!
  5. I have been running Affinity V2 since release with no problems. Not getting a space when the space bar is touched in Affinity just started this am.
  6. The space bar stopped working in Affinity - both Designer @ Photo. What can I do to correct this error? I can insert a space if I press SHIFT and hold it down and then hit the space bar. Any suggestions?
