Placed PDFs at wrong DPI

Hi There, I'm having an issue with placed PDFs. The PDF is at 300dpi and my Affinity document is also at 300dpi, however when I place the image is comes in at 72dpi (scaled to 417%). I've tried opening the PDF in Affinity Photo first to double check its the right dpi, so it must be the way its importing into Publisher?? We are architects so need to ensure our drawings are at the right scale! Any help would be much appreciated - Thanks, James
