  1. I agree in all. The only notable -and vaguely related- thing that changed in my machine in those days is that I updated Publisher/Photo/Designer v1 to 1.10.6.
  2. Exactly what I intended: call OS's built in interfaces (USB Video Class/DirectShow/TWAIN/WIA/ImageKit, the latter three used by Photoshop since some 20 yrs for scanners)
  3. Thank you Walt: 1) yes; 2) no v2 neither v1 running (I installed only Publisher, that worked absolutely fine for maybe 20 hours in 3 days); 3 yes, Kaspersky, and tried also disabling it without results. All other applications work fine, including Publisher v1.10.6
  4. Hi, I installed the trial 2.0.3 of Publisher; it worked absolutely fine for 2-3 days, then today don't start at all. Attached alert says that can't communicate with other Affinity apps, and check the firewall. I disabled firewall and antivirus, but nothing change. I tried to uninstall and reinstall it, but still don't run. What may I do? Tx for any suggestions, FC Windows 10 Home 22H2 build 19045.2486, Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4190.0, 12 GB RAM
  5. It would be nice to be able to acquire images from inside the program via a USB-connected camera, as there are now many 8-16 Mpixels very good and quite cheap ones. I also would be glad to be able to connect to scanners, thank you for considering.
