Ok so I am not crazy I hope this will help to improve Publisher. ++

Nothing special, just no transparency option enable. I just did more tests on my boths Macs. Problem occurs with or without hardware acceleration. But what's trigger it is the use of maintaining space bar ( hand shortcut ) to move my document before placing my image. So I have a document with picture frames. I always move it a bit using the keyboard space bar ( hand tool ), then I place my image. Then it happens. The "resize image handle" is not working and not alligned. Sometime very far away from the picture frame. But I just find out, as soon as you scroll a bit with your mouse wheel or your Apple mouse, the "resize image handle" put itself in the right position and work again. Here are some new pictures. Voila, I spent quite some time on it. Will check later if possible on a 2019 MacbookPro... That is as far as I can go.

My Macs are : -MacBook Pro Retina 2015, Monterey 12.6.1. 16GB ram -MacPro 5.1 2010, Monterey 12.6.1 56GB ram RX580. I can even try on a 2019 Mac a bit later in the day.

Another Mac, in 1 minute I reproduce the same behavior from a New A4 document, create images frames and drop a random picture into it. It appears after a few zooms in the document. Like in the video I posted.

I will send template. But I will also go on my other Mac and check if the probleme is there. and I bet 200% it is, as it was also there on the V1.

No need a template, I just created a document. Behavior is the same with my old template or a new document.

Hello. It's a template I did with Publisher 1, but it doesn't matter. I just did, I mean right now, another one from scratch in Publisher 2 : create an A4 document, place pictures frames in rows, drag the same image from finder. I got the same result as showed in video.

Ho yes sorry, Affinity Publisher 😐 I had the problem with Mojave ( to be confirmed ), and now in Monterey, 200% confirmed.
