👍+1 Extrusion is musthave feature.  I would love to do without Blender to create them.

I was used to use Extrusion in Macromedia Freehand, and it was very nice. Used it a lot oft times, and it had a nice set of options/settings. 
Since Macromedia were bought ot by Adobe, i was expecting them to include the ame functionality in Illustrator. But it's still not the same … 
I was very puzzled when i found out, that my beloved tool from Affinity does not have this functionality, since i believed, this is  a standard tool in vector drawing software. 
Please add an Extrusion function! I also need it!

I've heard it through a grapevine they are preparing V3 for the next month:
Designer will have all the features of Illustrator, Xara, CorelDRAW, FreeHand, VectorStyler... Photo will have all the features of Photoshop, Lightroom, ON1, Capture One Pro, Pixelmator... Publisher will have all the features of InDesign, QuarkXPress, Ventura, VivaDesigner...

V2 is cool and all but when will Affinity 3.0 be out? I really need the neuralink integration for Affinity to be useful. For now I'll stick to MS Paint and PowerPoint.

I don't know about you guys. But I bought Pixelmator Pro and Photomator and I seldom use affinity at the moment. It is such a thing that if they release another paid version that does not solve this I will probably not buy it. Affinity designer and publisher are ok. But Affinity Photo feels more like Photoshop 5. It's ok but definitely does not worth invest more money in a few tools that I use from Affinity Photo because with Pixelmator I get better results and a lot quicker.

I bought a Universal license through the Affinity store, and still can't activate the app.  I'm currently waiting for an email reply from Affinity since last November 7th.
