  1. I'm having this same issue. Very odd. Neither option or command +drag creates a duplicate. It seems to be specific to one file. Other files, it works just fine.

Okay, it seems that I had somehow selected "All", but the marching ants weren't showing at the zoom I was at. A quick deselect and everything is back to working as expected.

  2. I have some brushes that I mostly use as stamps for grime, noise etc. They are set to have a random rotation, so that each time you click the brush, it rotates the brush shape. There seem to be two brush previews--an outline one that shows the basic brush, with no rotation, and one that is a preview of how the brush will look that is full colour, and shows the re-rotation of the brush each time it is stamped. Is there any way to disable the outline preview, or have it also rotate?

  3. I'm having a problem with printing in the last few betas. I'm printing to an Epson 3880, and the scaling has gone a bit nuts. A letter size document printing at 100%, prints huge, even with scale to fit, etc. set to 100%. To get it to print properly, I have to manually set the size to around 24%. And then the dialogue box doesn't save that setting, so I have to set it every time.

It's also pretty frustrating to not be able to print a fully bleed. Even when I specify borderless printing, AD (and AP) put a small white edge on the print. Right now my workflow is this: build the document in AD/AP, export as PDF, open in photoshop and print. Nutty.

  4. A resounding plus one for this. eg. I have an image that is 3500 by 3500 pixels, and I want an end file that is 2000 x 1000 pixels. I want a strip through the middle of the image that uses it edge to edge in the long dimension. The crop tool should allow me to set that: Crop to exactly 2000x1000 pixels, by dragging out the crop box to any size I want in the original image, keeping to the 2x1 aspect ration, and then cropping and scaling in one step. This is how PS works, and it's something I do many times a week.

  5. I really, really +1 the need to be able to toggle the bounding box visibility on and off without holding down a key. when you're making minute adjustments to position or type it's a huge pain to have to keep clicking away from objects or using space bar on, space bar off, not being able to see your object in between changes.

  6. Reinstalled 10.10.2, and that seems to have taken care of it--not for exiting files, but for new saves. Thanks so much for the help.

Actually, still no previews in list view--looks like you don't either(?), but at least they're there in income view, and in the preview in the right column.

  7. It would be extremely helpful if the file icons for the affinity format showed a thumbnail of the file in the finder like most other image formats, rather than a blank icon. I'm starting to acquire a fair number of Affinity files, and it's a pain to not be able to tell them apart visually...

    Thanks!
