  1. Thanks for your replies. But I really can't imagine working on a layout vertically while the reality is horizontal, like most of books, leaflet or catalogues. You need to see the final result. And in this case, even the X ruler is 0 on each page, but the Y ruler doesn't begin at 0. Same for the rulers, I've been doing publishing for more than 30 years and margins, guides and grid are important. But with QuarkXpress, then with InDesign, I always kept rulers visible. And all my colleagues too. Layout are not always handle with grids. Especially when you working on creative document with few pages, all is a matter of balance and harmony between the two facing pages. And then guides and rulers are very important to verify and adjust finely. Then rulers at 0,0 on each page is more intuitive. And if you're working on 3 or more facing pages (X-fold leaflet), it's more and important. Whatever, it seems this is not possible and it's really a pity. Same for the impossibility to have more than 2 facing pages.
  2. Most of the time, it's easier to have the origin point (0-0) on each page. Having the left side of the right page beginning at 210 mm for an A4 page is not easy. For example, it's more intuitive to place an element at 12 mm from the border than at 222 mm... Does anybody know if there is a way to have rules at zero on top left of each page in the case of facing pages layout?
  3. I have the same problem. So I think it's not an issue but just the way the preview is displayed. But I totally agree, it's a real problem because the preview is almost unreadable. And then useless... I'd really appreciate to have the reason of such a choice. Is there a setting to avoid this? David
