[Why can't I access Affinity icons any more?]

I use a toolbar launcher in Windows.  I can add the Affinity programs to it to launch - made infinitely much harder thanks to V2, btw, but no where can I access icons.  Now, I'm left with a big Question Mark for all 3 programs.  V1 had a good thing in that regard, why did it get taken away?  You just made it much harder to use launchers for your programs.  I don't want to clutter my desktop or taskbar or be forced to open the Start menu every single time, so what are my options now?
