SOLVED (doesn't fix the reason WHY there was file corruption)... After multiple tries, here's what I've done: DELETE: C:\users\user\.affinity\2.0\* Uninstall Affinity Photo 2.0 Install Affinity Photo 2.0 Note that "only uninstalling/reinstalling Affinity Photo 2" didn't work, so I guess there was some corrupted file in the above data folder.

I have just installed all Affinity v2 applications. Design V2 works. Publisher V2 works. PHOTO V2 starts, immediately ask "send crash reports automatically..." and over this dialog, shows the "open document" window. As soon as I click "cancel" or "create" button, the application closes. Also note that all V1 applications still work fine on the same machine. I'm attaching my system configuration as well as the LOG from Photo and a crash report file.
