  1. Thanks MEB. I hope you get to the bottom of it and can come back with a solution.
  2. That is very odd, especially if you're on Mac too. I hope they find these posts. Although I have emailed them directly anyway.
  3. v1.10.5 too. Mac desktop Monterey For me both the auto-scrolls are independent of each other. Hopefully it's a bug they fix very soon. It's no good giving us shiny new things to play with if they ruin the old ones.
  4. It does matter In Affinity Designer v1 (Mac desktop) When using cmd + ] or cmd + [ to move a layer/s in the layers panel the selected layer/s always stayed in view (because the layers bar scrolled with the keystrokes). For this to work not only had ‘Auto scroll to show selected layers in layers panel’ to be enabled (in the ‘User Interface’ preferences) but also ‘Auto scroll’ had to be enabled in the layers panel ‘hamburger’ menu. In Affinity Designer v2 (the same Mac desktop) The ‘Auto scroll to show selected layers in layers panel’ in the ‘User Interface’ preferences has been removed. Consequently when trying to move layers using cmd + ] or cmd + [ the layer/s disappear/s out of view when the bottom end of the (on screen) layers panel is reached (because the layers bar does now not scroll with the keystrokes). Hey, I like seeing the layer/s I am moving in the layers panel without having to manually scroll to find them after I’ve moved them. This feature was very useful in enabling accurate movement of layers within the layers panel whilst looking at the artwork (rather than looking at the layers panel) while using cmd + ] or cmd + [ . The layer click + drag method (which does keep the chosen/highlighted layer in view) has its uses but is much more difficult/awkward/inaccurate/frustrating to use. I can't understand why they have removed it.

Any vital reason for the ‘Auto scroll to show selected layers in layers panel’ in the ‘User Interface’ preferences being removed? Am I missing something? Is that preference somewhere else? It makes no sense to remove something so useful. If not please put the !%%&*! thing back in! Btw enjoying v2 and its new additions apart from the above bizarre subtraction.
