In an attempt to force Affinity to respond I was working up a video and email to show how to replicate the bug and I couldn't get it to time out. Is anyone else seeing it fixed on their systems?

Can confirm. I have taken to exporting only to my Mac desktop and then copying files into their appropriate folders.

Also seeing this on v2 (same as v1), especially when using Google Drive. I can open the file in Photos and export (usually) but the beachball-ing is a very real problem. The file structure or export types don't seem to make a difference, either.
