I like the overall interface improvements and the new features for desktop and iPad but stills lacks that is very much needed.
Interface settings
The ability to adjust the size of the text and interface element with a slider instead of just a button
Support for Arabic, Hebrew, Kurdish, Russian, Persian and Hindi languages (In all Apps), and every languaue in the world
1. Affinity Designer:
A. Image tracing - the ability to make a sketch into vector curves and shapes. This is in Illustrator, Vectornator and Inkscape
B. Blend tool like that of illustrator
C . The ability to to simplify a path multiple times (with a threshold or something) without affecting the shape of the path
D. Text tool (in all apps) - Right to left, up to down and even typing text in a diagonal position easily
IPad: Command controller does not stay in a position where you move it to when I exit a document
E. Bring back to trash can to the bottom left of the tool bar on iPad. I do notice it on the context toolbar sometimes but only when the node tool is selected and the nodes are selected, and it gets hidden.
F. Real vector brushes not png or bitmap on a curve
G. Import and Export of AI files
2. Affinity Photo (I use photo for digital painting and Image manipulation, I tried Art Studio Pro(desktop) and Clip studio paint but feel most comfortable with Affinity Photo)
A. The ability to lock transparency/alpha with just one layer not all layers
B. (In all Apps on Desktop) Brush names instead of having to hover over the brush to see the name
3. Affinity Publisher: (don't use that much)
A. More templates and the ability to import our own more easily
