I'm able to put a shortcut on my Windows 10 desktop by following the instructions given here:
"However, you can manually create a desktop shortcut after installation. Go to Start > Run and enter Shell:AppsFolder and press OK - This will take you to a folder where you can drag and drop a copy of the Affinity V2 shortcut to your desktop."
That works - sort of - and the shortcut does indeed open the program. My problem, although not critical, is that the shortcut is a blank page. When I'm dragging the shortcut from the Application folder it has it's intended look until it reaches the desktop where it becomes a blank page. I guess I can live with it since I know what it is and it works as intended but I'd appreciate knowing how to get the proper looking shortcut symbol back.
