Hey mate, I don't want to discourage you, but I've been eagerly anticipating this for years which made me frustrated. I work in the sign industry too, and while I find Affinity much faster and more reliable, I can't switch to it because of the dimensioning tool. I don't think we will see this too soon, we better stick to what we have.

I'm so mad at this too because I bought the first version and never use it because it's missing dimension tools. Now I'm not going to buy the version 2.0 because they may add this feature in the version 5.

Is there a way to print the dimensions instead of just displaying them on the screen? I use Specees plugin on Illustrator and CorelDraw also has a dimensional tool that allows you to draw the actual line with the measures of the object. Isn't it essential for a design vector software?

They should use Specees plugin on Illustrator as a reference. I can't believe Designer still don't have it.

I'm also waiting for this feature. Just like Specees on Illustrator or dimensional tool on CorelDraw. I can't use Affinity because of that.
