Same thing for me editing a picture in AP on iPAD. After I created a new layer with all the adjustments to retouch the skin etc ... Once I use the Clone tool or other adjustment brushes, I lose the linked RAW. It's frustrating that a great feature like this it's unreliable.

You guys are shipping the version 2.1 and you are still not shipping a simple feature that is super requested to reset a simple bounding box? Come on Serif crew!

I will try the workaround you suggested, and thank you for your idea. I would love to encourage the Affinity team to build this feature because it's becoming quite popular in competitors' tools.
