Changing the hardness of the eraser brush tool does change affect actual hardness of the brush. No matter what I set the hardness to, including 0% and 100%, the actual hardness does not change. I am unable to use the brush at an actual 100% hardness, it continues to have soft edges.

I am now experiencing this exact issue in Affinity Designer 2. Was there no resolution other than a bug fix?
