  1. Same here unfortunately, Macbook M1 PRO 14' base model. My workaround is to select a 'Display Preset' with a brightness locked, like the Photography one. You can also edit the preset and choose a different max nits (I made one with 120nit locked). Not the best solution but for me this works, no more spinningball using Affinity Designer. Now waiting for an update from Affinity Team.
