Just now, Mithferion said:
What makes “”BIG” for you? An Adobe Illustrator carbon copy for one single payment? By that way, I assume that you use the 100% of the capacilities that Ai provides.
Best regards!
It's not what makes BIG for me - Its what Affinity announced "BIG" - This was by no means Big in app standard launch. Really there is nothing "new" per se, and No I may not use 100% of Ai, I certainly use way more tools it has than AD has,
It sounds to me you you are say "just be happy with what you got for the price you paid"

Im sorry but there is nothing BIG about this release. The new tools and features are certainly not a BIG release. Everyone is complaining about the lack of RTL support - yet you failed to address that. Still no UI customization. If this product has the intention of rivaling Adobe Illustrator - believe you guys still have a long way to go. There are too many bells and whistles that you call "features".
Can one of your app designers download Illustrator, make a list of ALL their features and just add it in?
Sorry but this is a BIG disappointment - Ill be holding onto my money for now.

I disagree hey. why add the feature in the first place. This is a CAD like feature so why not do it properly or not at all. Im not sure if there was tons and tons of people asking for a tool that can measure something, when the dimensions are already there.
All I am saying is if a tool is introduced - do it properly.

I agree, Its amazing how designers of the app don't seem to ask these questions "What if we had an option to make it permanent and the ability to print" - pffffft

Come on guys? I want to move completely to Affinity but looks like I will still need Adobe Illustrator a little while longer.

What I love about the customizable UI is Ai is that with a 4K monitor I can have more panels "stuck" than floating all over, etc
