  1. I think the question is centered around legal use of V2, not technical. I have the same question. Do we have the "right" to use V1 alongside V2 if we choose the upgrade-to-V2-from-V1 offer? This would result in having two copies of Affinity, one V1 and one V2, which is good deal if allowed. And since the offer states: "Upgrade discount for V1 users", the question remains because, usually, when you upgrade to a new version, you only have one copy at the end, here your V1 would transform into a V2 and that's it. Only one copy at the end. It would be nice if an Affinity representative could give a clear cut answer. Thank you.
  2. I'm surprised it is still not implemented in V2, considering that a third of the world population uses RTL.
  3. Yes, it ended up being accepted with no known reason. I guess it just was amazon's servers being down or so.
  4. Hi, It's a big problem because the inner margin isn't swapped alternatively, and it requires a lot of manual adjustments. Can we have publisher do this automatically? Thank you.
  5. Thank you BofG ! Best advice ever! Makes a lot of sense. I'll try that. Have a nice day
  6. Hi all, So I try to upload a comic book. I'm sure I have everything done right: document size to margins, bleed, export options, etc. But it says "Failed manuscript upload", and it fails in less than a minute, it it seems doesn't even upload it completely. Are there some special requirements for a comic book/graphic novel ? I tried to rasterize everything (is that flattened pdf btw?), and it also fails. I don't have page numbers written directly on each pages, could it be the issue? If yes, where do I put them? Is it ok in the margins? Thank you for helping. I seriously have no idea what to do.
  7. Hi, I hope you are doing well, I would have a question, what if an illustrated book a number of pages which makes it impossible to get at a 650mb pdf size. You can only reduce dpi/quality so far until it becomes unacceptable. Isn't there another option for illustrated, graphic novels, etc?
  8. Sure Note: I recreated and it does it all the time actually mask_opcity_test.afpub
  9. Here is an example note: it doesn't matter which brush I choose, even the basic ones have this problem. And I try to do dozens of strokes at the same spot, there is a limit, it can't get more transparent than that. That's really a concern.
  10. Thanks for your answer. I forgot to mention that this one was also at 100%
  11. Ok, so I wanted to follow on with a related point, which is that, sometimes, or many times, the mask won't be 100% opaque/transparent. The brush settings opacity, flow, hardness are all 100%, no wet edges, layer and brush modes set to normal, still we can see a little of the masked area (maybe 10%) It happens a lot, I'm just fighting with it right now. There is absolutely no explanation I can give. Do you have an idea? Thank you.
