  1. I've just gone ahead and deleted all the glitched image files and replaced them with linked ones on my computer. This technically works, but it takes hours, and worse still, OTHER files have gotten corrupted in the meantime.

This is a big issue with Publisher and I wish Affinity had a solution for it. The program even closed on me yesterday claiming that it was "corrupted." It's very stressful working on this three-year Kickstarted project with the impression that it could implode at any moment.

  2. Thanks for the reply. I've gone through and checked my iCloud files but it looks like they've been full since before I worked on the book.

As for how the images are put into the file, the Resource Manager lists the linked and embedded ones, but my corrupted files don't actually seem to be either of those. Rather, many of the images in this book were placed into it using the following method: I'd open the .psd art files in Publisher, then copy/paste the layers from that into a new page. Now that I think about it, all the images currently glitching were brought into Publisher using this method. They likewise don't appear to be linked or embedded, at least according to Resource Manager.

  3. Hi,

I'm using Affinity Publisher on an iMac to design a book of ~240 pages. The program worked great for a while but now as I'm nearing the end of the project, there's a lot of graphical glitching happening. I've attached an example below, where you can see the outline of the "Debate!" header randomly cut out on the end. More obviously, there are many random rectangles of varying color and shapes taken from other parts of the book.

If I zoom in and out, these visual issues will kind of "flicker" on and off. Some of them go away entirely at certain percentages (usually 25% and below). But any time I export pages, the visual glitches remain. When I isolate the layers that have the glitching, copy/pasting them will keep the visual glitching instead of cleaning it up.

Please help me fix this problem. This book has been in development for years and the visual issues are prevalent across many of its pages.

    Thanks.
