Publisher keeps crashing
in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

Hi, I've been using Affinity Publisher for a couple of years on my laptop with Windows 10 with no major problems. I haven't done any work with it for a couple of months and have just started editing a two page leaflet with text and images. Every time I start an edit, it crashes - even changing a couple of words or replacing an image. These are the things I've tried:
I've cleared a lot of space on my laptop internal hard drive,
deleted and reloaded Affinity Publisher, restarted the computer, loaded a
version without a large image to reduce the size ...
And it's still crashing! Any suggestions please?
