The info panel only updates after you lift the mouse button from the slider.

You dont need to lift the mouse on Windows

it will not update while you move the slider.

    It does on Windows

  2. To elaborate...

You can drag a sampler from the Info Panel to anywhere on the photo and that will show you the RGB value at that point

Changing the sliders in the "selective color adjustment or the HSL adjustment" will update those RGB values in the Info Panel

Other than that, I'm not entirely sure what you are wanting to do exactly

Now my c drive goes from 56GB down to 1GB while editing and then crashes.  When I restart PC I get my 56GB back.

There a large file called personabackstore.dat which is a temp file created by the Affinity software (presumably when it runs out of memory) which can become very large - reports of over 100GB

Since it is a temp file that explains why your disk space returns after a reboot

Search the forum for "personabackstore" to read up on this issue and where to find and monitor that file, to see if it is the culprit in your case

Now when I open it everything, text and photos, are blurry and distorted

Blurry (low res) images are indicative of the document not being able to load linked images

In resource manager I see that your images are specified as "Linked (Remote)" which I think is some kind of cloud service

You may want to move those images to your local drive to eliminate this as the cause of the blurry images (it's easy to relink them, in one step, once moved)

Alternatively, you could embed your images rather than link them but I notice you have one mega image of 446MB so you might want to take a look at that bad boy before embedding the images

Personally, I would do the above first then see if the document is now stable or not

PS Make a copy/backup of your current document before proceeding

The second challenge is that I can't find a way to write a macro in Develop Persona mode.

So my question is: what is the best way, to open 300 photos, adjust shadows/highlights in Develop Persona mode and save them in JPG?

The link below shows how you can batch process Raw files in the Develop persona using a macro and the File > New Batch Job command in APhoto

  6. Thanks, hopefully support or the Devs will be able to analyse the "empty" file and find out why the file size is large

On windows an empty publisher file is about 12KB for me

    Just one more thing...

Are you creating and saving the file on a networked drive or NAS drive etc and if so, what is the file size when creating and saving to your local drive?

  7. Doh!

Just remembered that auto corrects are language specific

Your text has to be set to the same language as the auto-correct language setting you are changing

So, for example, if your text is set to no language or English (United States) changing the auto-correct setting for English (United Kingdom) will have no effect

Please check the language your text is set to by highlighting the text and then checking the language setting in the character panel

  8. Thanks

OK I have uploaded the macro to this post

I tested it by removing your applied vignette and linking your Raw file to export it

I then did a batch job using that file with the macro and it worked OK

Hopefully, it should work for you on a few test RAW files you have not processed as yet

Just save the attached macro to your Library panel and follow the instructions in Step 2 of this post

Yes that is working, no problem

OK, I can now see you are working on a Mac, I am on Windows so someone with a Mac will need to confirm they are seeing the same issue as you, as I cannot test that.

Please state what Mac OS version you are using so someone can test that and get back to this thread later for you

In the meantime, if you develop an image with the "lens vignetting removal" options you want already applied to it and attach that .AFPhoto file to the forum I may be able to complete the macro for you so you can test it in a batch file. Please use the Embedded option as I won't have the original Raw file
