Your RGB values are changing in the video You dont need to lift the mouse on Windows It does on Windows
-
To elaborate... You can drag a sampler from the Info Panel to anywhere on the photo and that will show you the RGB value at that point Changing the sliders in the "selective color adjustment or the HSL adjustment" will update those RGB values in the Info Panel Other than that, I'm not entirely sure what you are wanting to do exactly

Affinity Publisher V2 saved filed cannot be opened
carl123 replied to Info_Blue's topic in V2 Bugs found on Windows
Where (what sort of drive) are you saving them to? And are you synching those saved files to any sort of cloud service? Can you upload, to the forum, one of the files that cannot be opened? -
There a large file called personabackstore.dat which is a temp file created by the Affinity software (presumably when it runs out of memory) which can become very large - reports of over 100GB Since it is a temp file that explains why your disk space returns after a reboot Search the forum for "personabackstore" to read up on this issue and where to find and monitor that file, to see if it is the culprit in your case

inconsistent image border/stroke

Select > Select Object > Picture Frame Should allow you to do as you want but check out the Help file first to fully understand what is does -
From the help file... Press the Ctrl and Alt keys together and: Click to cycle between width and hardness, shape and spacing, and rotation attributes. Drag left/right or up/down to adjust the corresponding attribute. For example, with width and hardness attributes selected, drag left/right to adjust the first attribute and up/down to adjust the second attribute.

Is this file corrupt?
carl123 replied to Charlie Bucket's topic in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
Blurry (low res) images are indicative of the document not being able to load linked images In resource manager I see that your images are specified as "Linked (Remote)" which I think is some kind of cloud service You may want to move those images to your local drive to eliminate this as the cause of the blurry images (it's easy to relink them, in one step, once moved) Alternatively, you could embed your images rather than link them but I notice you have one mega image of 446MB so you might want to take a look at that bad boy before embedding the images Personally, I would do the above first then see if the document is now stable or not PS Make a copy/backup of your current document before proceeding -
At a guess did you add your polygon selection after you added the Levels Adjustment Layer? You need to add the selection first

Batch Shadows / Highlights
carl123 replied to Kolobamanacas's topic in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
The link below shows how you can batch process Raw files in the Develop persona using a macro and the File > New Batch Job command in APhoto -
Thanks, hopefully support or the Devs will be able to analyse the "empty" file and find out why the file size is large On windows an empty publisher file is about 12KB for me Just one more thing... Are you creating and saving the file on a networked drive or NAS drive etc and if so, what is the file size when creating and saving to your local drive?
-
When you say the file is "empty" do you mean you just created a new file and did nothing else but save it or did you do some work then deleted everything until it was "empty" and then saved it? Also, can you upload the "empty" file to the forum?

Doh! Just remembered that auto corrects are language specific Your text has to be set to the same language as the auto-correct language setting you are changing So, for example, if your text is set to no language or English (United States) changing the auto-correct setting for English (United Kingdom) will have no effect Please check the language your text is set to by highlighting the text and then checking the language setting in the character panel

Batch processing in raw editor

I think, maybe the Devs/Support will need to look into your issue further and testing with "MacOs: Sonoma 14.0" -
Batch processing in raw editor
carl123 replied to ken_wiberg's topic in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
Thanks OK I have uploaded the macro to this post I tested it by removing your applied vignette and linking your Raw file to export it I then did a batch job using that file with the macro and it worked OK Hopefully, it should work for you on a few test RAW files you have not processed as yet Just save the attached macro to your Library panel and follow the instructions in Step 2 of this post Vingette.afmacros -
Batch processing in raw editor
carl123 replied to ken_wiberg's topic in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
Like I said you need to Embed the RAW file or else I cannot see it You have linked it Alternatively, just upload the Raw file on your next post to the forum -
Yes, but if it all goes horribly wrong, my Lawyer has advised me to deny ever being part of this conversation

OK, I can now see you are working on a Mac, I am on Windows so someone with a Mac will need to confirm they are seeing the same issue as you, as I cannot test that. Please state what Mac OS version you are using so someone can test that and get back to this thread later for you In the meantime, if you develop an image with the "lens vignetting removal" options you want already applied to it and attach that .AFPhoto file to the forum I may be able to complete the macro for you so you can test it in a batch file. Please use the Embedded option as I won't have the original Raw file
