carl123 replied to dogbone's topic in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
In APhoto V2 uses a new Pixel Grid as default which you don't see until you zoom in "massively" Hopefully this is under review -

On a closed donut shape you can directly type the percentage value in the Total angle: input field on the context toolbar E.g. type... 25% 50% 73.7% -
Affinity Photo perspective tool not working
carl123 replied to mjongsma's topic in V2 Bugs found on macOS
If you can upload that Affinity document to the forum, we can then tell if it's a problem with the file or your Mac -

carl123 replied to Andrew Buckle's topic in Feedback for the Affinity V2 Suite of Products
Better still, add it to the current list of Live Filter Layers -
Corrupted files
carl123 replied to nathmarz_'s topic in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
Not sure how you are saving the "versions" but unusual for all the "versions" to suddenly be corrupt unless it's a linked file that is the problem Can you upload the latest Affinity Document, you have, to the forum? -
In V2 try this first... Edit > Preferences > Miscellaneous > Reset Brushes This will (should) reset the default brushes, any additional brushes you have installed will have to be added separately

Color fill problem
carl123 replied to AndyV's topic in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
Look at the icons next to the Layers in the Layers panel The first 2 are different and indicate that they are image layers. The rest are pixel layers Applying a fill (or colour) to image layers works differently than when applying it to pixel layers To turn an image layer into a pixel layer, right-click the layer in the Layers panel and select Rasterise -

So that your partner does not know what sort of images you have been working on -
Lots of companies have to cater for the specific software needs of individuals working for them, in addition to the generic software that everyone gets... E.g. The accountant needs accounting software Whoever pays the wages need Payroll software Whoever does the Invoices needs Billing software And the Graphics guy needs Affinity Photo etc etc etc

Transparency tool and table
carl123 replied to Steve_1010's topic in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
Thanks, yes it looks like previously you may have been applying transparency to a group your table was in rather than directly to the table itself In the future if you only have a table, you can just group it by itself and apply transparency to the group and that should provide the effect you want -
Transparency tool and table
carl123 replied to Steve_1010's topic in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
Hi Steve We need a copy of a previous Affinity document (i.e. the .afpub document, not a screenshot or jpg/png file) where the table has the transparency correctly applied to it. Any old document will do, it does not have to be the one you are working on now -
When I modify linked files I get an error
carl123 replied to Ivan C's topic in V2 Bugs found on Windows
Where are your files stored? E.g. Internal drive, External Drive, Network, NAS, cloud service, USB drive etc PS your attached documents work OK for me. Modifying the linked file seems to work just fine in a quick test
