  1. A long click for me is under a second and I get the drop-down There may be an OS setting that specifies when your mouse/pen registers a long click, which may be set very, very low Alternatively, try the CTRL run-up option to reset your app to its default settings
  2. This week's beta has a couple of shortcut fixes, you may want to give that a go, if not tried already
  3. Me too (Windows 11) Has always done this Was never a significant "bug" for me to worry about
  4. Can you upload one to the forum, for testing, or else we will only be guessing as to where the problem may be
  5. You can use the channel panel to switch off the editability of the alpha channel (Protect Alpha)
  6. The path will not be ignored but will not do what the user wants to do The path you specify in the export persona is tacked onto the folder you export the images to. So, if the user wants to export to "C:\Users\lando\OneDrive\FB" They would specify Users\lando\OneDrive\FB for the path component and on the export screen just navigate to the root of the "C:" drive and select that for the output folder
  7. It's always worked this way. It's not a bug more a feature/improvement request
  8. I think it may just be some automatic tone curve adjustment algorithm that works similar to Auto Levels and Auto Contrast (etc) that you find in Filter > Colours... I don't think it is manufacturer specific but only a Dev or Support staff will be able to give you a definitive answer as to what it does and how it works
  9. I see the same as you with no tone curve but once enabled the results are comparable to the comparison you displayed above. I think having the Tone Curve enabled is the best way to initially process RAW files Time to load image is 4 seconds on my i7, 16GB
  10. It does look a little dull in comparison. Do you have Apply Tone Curve enabled in Assistant Preferences (Manager)? Also, could you upload that RAW file, here, for testing?
  11. In your snapping settings, switch off (untick) Show Snapping Candidates
  12. I guess at some point you have to ask the question, why not? You would think the manufacturer would be the best person to know the best initial default settings to apply to their RAW images I would think that are lot of non-professional photographers would be quite happy with what the manufacturer's default gives them, saving them the hassle of having to adjust each RAW file on opening it Maybe Serif could add an option to the Assistant Manager to do this in a future update/upgrade
  13. .afmacros files can be imported without a document being opened as they are application-wide macros .afmacro files are document specific so you need to have a document open to import one
  14. If you are placing an image in a Publisher document you can set a stroke (border) on the image To apply to all images in the current document... Edit > Copy one image that has the stroke (border) Select > Select Object > Images Edit > Paste Style I am not aware of any way to make the border a default option
  15. Classic description of the Export dialogue screen opening on a 2nd monitor somewhere Switch on any other monitors you have or if using a Laptop with large screen attached, open the Laptop and check its screen
  16. Try this... In Resource Manager change all linked files to Embedded Save & Close document Reopen document and change Embedded documents back to Linked Save as... to a new file name
  17. As far as I can recall, the pages in the Designer and Photo personas (in Publisher) have only ever been accessible via the controls at the bottom left of the screen (next to the hint line)
  18. Create a new affinity document and save it and you will get no icon thumbnail or preview in File Explorer You have to close that affinity document (or the app) and only then does the icon thumbnail and preview show up in File Explorer It's always been like that for me
