  1. Is it just my imagination or is there a child's face in that picture and if so where is it being reflected from?
  2. You have a lot of overlap in those images I can get a decent enough panorama, from the jpg files, without artefacts, if I recrop them a bit Full size image uploaded in zip file attached (forum would not let me upload it full size as a jpg) pano1.zip
  3. ALT+v (release keys) then d is the quickest way using just the keyboard, I think.
  4. See attached, the 200 has been increased to 400 and is controlled by the B slider at 50% in the slider it will be 200
  5. Use the following settings in the Equations Filter The last number (0.005) controls the strength of the Ripples, you only need very small changes You could easily create a macro for this and change the 0.005 into variable "A" to give controllable (via a slider) ripple effects for different sized documents
  6. An interesting question If the circle is smaller than the square and placed inside the square you can select both and resize to 1cm by 1cm and the circle will resize proportionately (see screenshot) Using the above logic let's say you have a square, in your group, 5cm x 5cm that you want to resize to 1cm by 1cm Create a new square proportionately larger than the grouped objects, let's use 50cm by 50cm Place it below your group and select it and your group together, now resize the new square to 1/5th it's size (10cm) and your original square should now be resized to exactly 1cm x 1cm and all other objects in the group resized proportionally. I think that will work but I have only had one coffee this morning so still not fully awake as yet
  7. Yes ethics in a company is important But consider that some of the AP users may have trialled AD, some may be watching it's progress on the forums and just waiting for certain features to be added before they buy it or even saving up to buy a copy as they have liked what they tested.. More impotantly, some might have purchased AP directly from Serif but purchased AD from the Windows Store or the Apple Store Both of which you do not have the email address for, so is it ethical for you to try to target (email) those users as well I think so. Microsoft & Apple withholding information on who bought your product, is that ethical? No, I think not. You have a right to try to contact all users of AD by whatever means are available to you. (Rant over, time for some beers, I may be gone sometime)
  8. And what's wrong with sending it to people that just have Affinity Photo - they too would want to support Serif, would they not? Don't risk losing this, if there are Affinity supporters out there target them ALL
  9. Agreed, don't put off voting just because Affinity are way ahead at the moment. They were way ahead before and todoist rallied their troops and overtook Affinity big time todoist will be looking to do that again and possibly working on a way as we speak Getting too cocky/complacent in this thread could lose Affinity's sudden surge ahead today
  10. Yay!!!! Just got an email from Serif asking me to Vote for them If I had not been a member of this forum and had not already voted I would certainly have done so now Let's hope it's enough
  11. Too early for thanks, todoist are likely to push hard for this, expect another call to arms from them Serif needs to go all out if they want to win this ( Where's my email from you guys? - I don't follow social media) Remember people you do not have to be on Windows 10 or have brought the product from the Windows Store, you just need any email to vote. Create a new one (Yahoo, Gmail) if you do not want to give Microsoft your details
  12. I suspect you also need Affinity Photo for this Looks like a live perspective filter has been applied to an embedded document in Affinity Photo then the document was opened in Affinity Designer and the embedded document opened to show the live updating of the image with the perspective applied The layout of the screen I assume is just "separated mode" on a Mac
  13. This needs a bump Getting too close to call this one
  14. Using the Equations Filter on a rectangle can produce interesting effects Slider A controls the amplitude of the waveform
  15. I meant email everyone that has purchased the app through the Affinity store (whose email details you already have) I voted and I neither have Windows 10 or use the Windows store
  16. Time for Serif's email marketing team to do the same then
  17. I think you would need to Right Click and Rasterise the Fill Layer first
  18. Look up Global Colours in the help files, they may do what you want
  19. You mentioned "classrooms" in your original post so it's possible your are running under some sort of educational license from Serif. If that is the case only a Serif staff member will know what the terms of that license is or how you initially installed the software onto your PCs and the correct procedure for moving the licenses to your new PCs. That is why I cannot answer your question
  20. They both simply tried to advise you that as Serif are in the UK their "support department" is currently closed. (no 24 hour support) I believe it will open again at around 8:30am UK time
  21. Use the Row Marquee Tool to select a single row of pixels Copy to a new layer Then use the Power Duplicate function to duplicate the row of pixels whilst moving the layer down 1 pixel each time
  22. Here's another.. Start with a small triangle Snap the circles to the points of the triangle (as shown in the image below) Then holding the CTRL key, scale the triangle bigger to the size you want
  23. Still cant see the history, either I'm doing something wrong or something weird is happening here I am on Windows 8.0 I'll wait for someone else to come along and see what they see.
