  1. Thanks, that worked! Now I'm having trouble with the export. Last week I was able to remove background and then export as a .png and it created a file that was just the selection I had kept with a transparent background with no issue. Now when I attempt to export the same file I referenced above (or another image) the output is simply the original file dimensions with the selection as a part of the whole document with a transparent background. I'm not sure if asking this in this thread is appropriate or if you want me to start another thread. I am attaching the original source files of two images, both af file and two export files. What you'll see it that while I thought I performed the same functions I got different results, neither of which is just the selection. No doubt it's user error. I hope I'm explaining this in a way you can decipher. If there is a training on this subject you can recommend I'd appreciate it. I have not been successful finding anything with the terms I'm searching. Thank you again for your help.

  2. Hi, I am trying to remove the background from a photo in Affinity Photo. I followed these steps:
    open image
    unlock
    rasterize and trim

When I get to this step I get random areas where part of the image are deleted. At least that's what it looks like. Last week I performed the same steps and did not have this issue. This has happened on multiple images today. Attaching  af file in case that is more helpful. Thanks in advance for the help and wisdom!
