I found the problem. There was a problem with a mask layer. Once I merged it, it exported.

Don’t know what's wrong, I'm not able to export it. My team is waiting Someone please help me asap

@Hangman Hi, I have attached the screen recording as requested. The app doesn’t crash every time. The work area is highlighted whenever I press the spacebar. However, when I press shift + spacebar, I'm able to create a space as usual. Wonder what's wrong. Is this happening with Frame Text or Artistic Text? Both Does this happen with all documents or only specific files? All Documents Which version of macOS are you using? Mac Os Sonoma 14.1.1 Which font are you using? It happened to many fonts Is the font you're using when you experience the crash a static or variable font? I'm not sure Screen Recording 2023-11-24 at 7.02.58 PM.mov

The app crashes every time I press the spacebar to add space between words. This happened on Affinity Photo and Publisher as well. I haven’t tried to see if this problem persists in Designer yet. Please help me. I don’t know if it’s a bug or something else.

@MEB Affinity v2.2.1.2075 Mac os 14.1.1 Please send me the exported PSD as the one I exported has all the adjustment layers and filters baked/merged together.

Hey @MEB I tried to export it again now but before that I grouped & rasterised most of the layers. It worked. I was able to export it. Yay! But I had to merge some layers & rasterise all the live adjustment layers. Bummer! Wonder why I could not export the psd with all the live adjustments present. It always happens!

I don’t know what's wrong but I'm just not able to export my affinity photo file to a PSD file. My client needs it. Please help asap! It shows that it's exporting and then the whole software crashes and I have to force quit the application because it does not respond. Please help.

Hi, I tried importing an already designed PSD file sent from my team into Affinity Photo to edit further but Affinity Photo just spread the entire design. Now everything looks stretched in a weird way. See screenshot. Please help asap! I have also attached a screenshot of the original file (opened in photopea) for your reference.

@Chris B If I rasterise and trim, Will I be able to edit the colours later?

@Chris B The client will be using this map in a few of their videos. They told me to give a 4k, 300 DPI map. But I made it bigger so that in future if they want to blow it up, they can without any loss in quality (Because they print stuff all the time). So I just wanted to be safe and work in the biggest size possible. I thought Affinity can handle it but it was not the case.

@Chris B Yes I'm sending it to my team across the country. They will be animating it for the main project. I'm a freelance illustrator/ Designer, so I work with all the illustrations from time to time for the project.

@Chris B There is another issue also I always face. When I export an affinity file to PSD and open that PSD file, I'm not able to edit the text. The text becomes rasterised. Why? It happens with Affinity designer also.
