[Affinity Publisher isn't saving and other functions]

Thanks so much for this info. I will save it for future reference. I just shut everything down and reopened the program. Luckily everything had saved.

Affinity Publisher will not save, save as export or open any of my files. I checked for updates but it is up to date. I don't want to close the program and risk losing any work I have already done. Somebody please help! I am on a deadline!

I did uncheck it. When I said I "checked it", I meant I looked into it 😅

I checked this and it was checked but didn't change anything. But at least I know I just can't be heavy handed now.

Oh wait, I think I got to work. If I only press half-way down on the trackpad! New computer but I did not encounter this previously on my last project in Publisher. IDK

I tried the systems preferences for the trackpad but this didn't change anything for moving object in publisher. I still have the drop down menu

I am using MacOS Monterey and I am just using the touchpad for my cursor. I may have inadvertently turned on a shortcut for the cursor but I have no idea how or how to turn it off.

I do not know what I changed but I can no longer move anything in Affinity Publisher. When I have the move tool selected if I move the cursor a drop down menu appears that shows a long list starting with Copy, Paste, Cut. How do I turn this off so I can move an image or text box? Help! Ugh.
