  1. I actually found the correct math from Nuke's documentation. In case it would be helpful for someone else, here is how to do it, with a XYZ 3*3 matrix: Output R = R * Xr + G * Xg + B * Xb Output G = R * Yr + G * Yg + B * Yb Output B = R * Zr + G * Zg + B * Zb
  2. Hi! Is there a way to do a Color Matrix adjustment in Affinity Photo, similar to Natron or Nuke's ColorMatrix node? I tried the Procedural texture approach but I guess I'm not using the correct math, I couldn't get it to work. Thanks!
  3. Which is not a problem, really. The way we edit it can be anything, even a regular grayscale pixel layer. I just want to be able to save a TGA (32-bit - 4 x 8-bits channels) with the alpha.
  4. I haven't tested it but Krita seems to support it: https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/layers_and_masks/split_alpha.html
  5. This won't work with PNG, PNG does not save RGB information for transparent pixels. You need to use TGA format with 32-bits option (not 32-bits depth, but 8-bits * 4 channels). Here is an example. test.tga
  6. I bought Affinity Photo 2 upgrade because I want to support the development, Affinity is doing a lot of things right for HDR manipulation and I love the software. But I'm sad to see no changes concerning the Alpha Channel editing... I'm not even asking to be able to paint it, just extract it from a layer would be enough. We need to be able to author alphas to export 4-channels TGAs into Unreal. It's the only reason I can't fully switch to Affinity Photo, and I really hope Serif is looking into it.
  7. Hi there! Lens correction is amazing, the Lensfun database is very complete and useful. But as a 3D artist trying to replicate real lens look in my renders, I want to recreate the distortion from these lenses, not just remove it. Would it be possible to invert the math and add the possibility to use Lens profiles in the Lens Distortion filter? Thanks a lot!
