  1. Gee! Thanks for that. I am so glad I asked instead of getting more annoyed trying other things.....my wife is also thankful you found the error 😆 Cheers and much appreciated Chris
  2. Hi. I am fairly new to Affinity Designer. I have recently purchased V2. I am doing a simple game for kids. I have been trying many things to rectify it before dropping by here. (Pic1) shows everything as it should be. Bright red spaces and red numbers with black outline. Top layer and all to curves. I then add a background and then it partially covers over the numbers. (Pic2) Background is in the bottom layer. I can't see why it is half covering the numbers? No affect to the spaces. Numbers have no opacity. (Pic3) Guidance appreciated. Cheers and thanks Chris
  3. Looking forward to giving them a try. Thank You.
  4. Thanks Jeremy.Appreciate your time and effort. Well done.
  5. Hi Garry I have checked out options for SVG export from Inkscape and none of the options there make any difference. Now I know of limitations re svg importing I will work around that. Thanks
  6. Hey Garry Thanks for the reply. Firstly I only just noticed that imported as a circle! I will check out if there is an export option without the Inkscape-specific features. I could also use Affinity for any problematic imports I guess.
  7. Further investigations show that if I create the arrow head in inkscape as a shape it works fine. The problem appears when I create the arrow as a stroke arrow in Inkscape. So I assume Inkscape has an issue with it's svg or Publisher has a problem in reading the svg file properly when it is done as an arrow stroke from Inkscape.
  8. I have attached the .svg file. I have placed in my document a couple a more times and still drops the arrow heads..it is a grouped image and it shows fine in my browser. W2symbol-.svg
  9. Hi. Using 1.10.5.1342. The 1st image shows what the svg image looks like in Inkscape. The 2nd image as it shows in my browser. The 3rd image is how it places into Publisher. I have opened a brand new default document and it still drops the arrow heads. Stumped. Cheers Chris
