  1. Hay. Thanks. I will study the macro feature and then the batch!
  2. Hay. I need a little help. What I want to do is save (as a preset) my adjustment layers. How do I do that? Then apply those adjustments preset to images in a batch process. Then how do I do that? I saw the macro feature but for now want to try a more basic method/process. I also some online videos but those versions are different from mine and I am not able to determine how to anyway from the videos. My version of Affinity Photo is: 1.10.5.1342 P.S. I am not talking about preset export settings from the file drop down menu and then export and so on. Thanks, Doug S.
  3. Hay. Thanks for all of the help and feedback. I was using Gimp for a "free" all purpose viewer to simply check the file. And you are right about the math but thought the PDF would still null (within tolerance) in general. The aspect ratio problem did not show with viewing in Gimp. I was wanting a possible way to view the work but also secure it. I was thinking maybe something along the lines of being able to interact, another words allow for layers to be mask to show some other work underneath. Some might think of something like a Power Point presentation. I did look at Affinity Publisher and thought it might be better to pass on it for know. BUT have been more than impressed with Designer and Photo. So, much that I bought them! Lastly, If I did want to export to a file what would some of you suggest and why? Signed, Douglas S.
  4. Hay. What is/was happening is I was loosing some of the aspect ratio. I did not quit state what is/was going on quit right. What I did is/was to install Gimp essentially as a viewer and the aspect ratio is fine. Can you suggest a export format for a 36 inch by 24 inch landscape drawing (400 DPI)? The drawing being vector over raster drawing. Signed, Douglas S.
  5. I made the graphic design in Affinity Designer in a landscape format (16:9) and tried to export in landscape in a PDF format. The image is as I made it but apparently the portion is off. That may be due to the way I am viewing it. I should have stated it being more of a aspect ratio issue. Give me a little time and see what goes on with different viewer(s). Signed, Douglas S.
  6. For example when printing a word document into a PDF file format you are sometimes asked/allowed for landscape "or" portrait mode. And when dealing with a 16:9 graphic(s)/image page drawing for example within Affinity Designer, it/exporting will only allow portrait mode within the PDF export and not landscape. Landscape is a better graphic/image page format for lets say a 16:9 drawing. Signed, Douglas S.
  7. When exporting to PDF you are not allowed to export the image(s)/page(s) in landscape mode. At least as far as I can tell. Signed, Douglas S.
  8. Hay. I am new to graphic arts. And needless to say new to Affinity. I wanted to make some specific shape(s) with color(s) and so on. I want to save them so I can use them with different file(s). Another words how can I save the work to something like a library? Thanks and Signed, Douglas T Sherlock
