Thanks for the reply, but ("DI Blessing of Boats 02.jpg") is not the name of the file, "DI Blessing of Boats 02.jpg" was added in Photoshop, I believe if you click, File, Add Info, it brings up a panel/box where the text was typed and it shows up on opening of the file. I opened the email on my iPhone and it came up straight away, so I don't think it's a software issue. I'm starting to think it can't be done in AFFINITY to be honest!!

Hi All, Thank you for all of the above comments, however I don't understand a lot of the "tech jargon"!!!! So maybe keep it simple for me and on the subject???? I asked a fellow shooter email an example file from Photoshop. The first image is what I see when I open the email, when I click on the image the second opens up immediately opens with the title "DI Blessing Of The Boats", this is the Information which was embedded within the file, so when the shooter sends this to his Editor in the local Newspaper all the information is displayed straight away. So my question is simple, can this be done in AFFINITY with "The Editor" having to click on the image and go searching for Metadata/Exif Data???? Thank you in advance for all of your help!!

Hi All, Just wondering if we can add information to a file which would stay with the file ie: through email etc. eg: In Photoshop you can go into "File Information" and Add Information, eg: "Pictures L to R is person 1, person 2 and person 3 at the opening of the shop. Picture by The Photographer" This information now stays with the file, so if i send it to a newspaper the information is permanently attached. can this be done??????

Hi, I am running a MacBook Pro using the latest "Catalina Version 10.15.7" and when I am applying the "Unsharp Mask" to sharpen an image, the image goes sharp WHILE THE MASK IS BEING APPLIED, "however" once the mask is finished "BEING APPLIED" it "does not apply to the image, it stays being unsharpened!!!!! Can anyone advise please????
