  1. Thanks, everyone, for your responses. Here's what worked: stokerg and Alfred got it right for me -- unchecking "Capitalize ..." in Autocorrect works. I also tried PaulEC's suggestion of removing the "c." from the Abbreviations list, but it had no effect on the problem. walt.farrell: I agree - it's a crappy work-around, but I was too lazy to dig for the answer.
  2. I have a weird bug in Affinity Publisher -- if I type a "C." (capital C, period), Publisher frequently converts the capital C to lower case. For example, if I type "John C. Doe", as soon as I type the period, the "C" changes to "c". However, if the "C." begins a sentence or paragraph, it's unchanged. The problem is easily corrected by selecting the lower case "c" and overwriting it with a "C". However if I type a "." after it, it changes back to lower case. This problem doesn't occur with any other letters. I'm using the latest versions of Affinity Publisher and MacOS Monterey. I don't know how long this problem has existed (I've just been living with it), but I'd guess at least six months. Jim
