That image will be 65.75inches x 46 inches and placed on a wall in a gym. Thats small for me as I do a lot of 4ftx 8ft, up to 10ft x 30ft billboards, as well as vehicle wraps which end up about 15ft long x 7ft tall each side.... and 98% of the time is done in vectors to prevent pixelization or high dpi rasters . So yes my files can get large.

saved as PDF digital - high quality setting. Tried to change Embed fonts settings and made NO difference.

Im not having any issue with fonts on my pc, nor with 5 other graphic programs on the same PC. Only Affinity products. File was created in Affinity Photo V 2.0.0, saved as a .pdf 1.7 ( Acrobat 8 ) Same PC, same fonts (Arial), I even tried to recreate the file in Designer and guess what.....same issue as photo has. Not only has Corel, but many other software companies can open and export as .ai without issue including Sai Flexisign, Lightburn, and Vector software just to name a few. I wish Affinity would stop making excuses and fix their issue since the work around using .pdf is broken as well. Makes it impossible to move vector files outside of Affinity's software.

No matter if text is embedded or not when exported. Affinity Designer will not export correctly. Bottom of the image is how it is supposed to be....top is after export and even opened in Affinity Designer. What do we have to do to get this fixed????

Yes, Im finding that AD doesnt play well with many of the other software. Im dealing with similar .pdf issues.

See attached . Same PC, same fonts, saved this file as pdf in ADesign, and opened in Flexisign, and Adobe and reopened in ADesign and all of them show messed up with simple font. Since ADesign cant export in other adobe files, Im limited in what I can export in, primarily vectors. Lower image is prior to saving in AD. above image is after. I REQUIRE it to be an accurate saving to be moved into another program for sizing and print. \You cant say Adobe wont let Affinity save in their format (.ai or .psd) as Adobe has allowed Sai for years. Affinity probably doesnt want to pay the $ for the ability.

I was able to do in in AD ONLY after converting the text to shapes, hence is no longer editable.

All Im trying to do is add an outline to a few numbers. Attached is where I did it with another program. And is still editable. As for Affinity Design, I even tried to change the width manually by as little as 1 pix in the top settings with NO luck.

All my other programs, I can leave the text so it can be edited later with an outline. I tried to add contour to numbers for an outline and it disappears.

Ill try it next time it happens.

3rd time this happened today. This file is blank, went to write a 3 node vector and only got 2 before freezing. Im not impressed with the software if thats all it does.

You can do it manually with the shape builder tool

I deal 95% in vector as I do large print as well as needing editing ability.... Rasterize is not a good option for me.

Xor is not working correctly for a shape builder work around. Half of my curves disappear and does not cut the curves where they cross. See attached link to screen record. https://we.tl/t-L5HPrTQpsc
