  1. Hi loukash Thank you very much for the tip! You can assign shortcuts for Find Next and Find Previous. But those work only after you have pressed Return or clicked the Find button to start the actual search. This works quite well, but: Do you have any idea why Serif has not provided a shortcut for replace? After that I would have nothing more to complain about! As far as UI scripting is concerned: I'm too stupid for that!
  2. Hi, I would like to put the serach and replace buttons on shortcuts in the Find/Replace panel. Is that possible?
  3. @Hi Callum I have just uploaded a file that I saved in faulty mode. The error is now reproducible, as described by Hangmann: As soon as I move the document view in the Navigator Panel, the error occurs. After a redraw, the text highlighting is there again. Thanks for the quick support; I now know how to deal with the problem until it is solved.
  4. Mac Ventura, mac-mini m1: sometimes the blue color disappears while working with text selection; the text is selected but not visible. After some time, the selection reappears. I think this phenomenon appeared after 2.2!
  5. Thanks LibreTraining, RC-R, Andy05, problem seems solved with the note: PostScript Type 1 fonts are not supported in Affinity apps. See attached printout. Fonttest FontXChange.pdf
  6. Postscript: Try with Frutiger. Here, only the font Frutiger 55 seems to be affected. The thicknesses do not match the font. Fonttest Frutiger.pdf
  7. Thank you for the quick response! Printer used: Brother MFC-J8935DW wireless connected to iMac (High Sierra) I attach two PDF: 1. fonttest PDF output.pdf (PDF correctly generated by Affinity Publisher) 2. fonttest print.pdf Scan of printout to printer with the errors. Interestingly, the two italic fonts are correct). Fonttest PDF output.pdf Fonttest print.pdf
  8. Instead of the font set in the Publisher document (e.g. Linotype Centenniel 55), the Arial font (with incorrect thicknesses) appears on the printer. The output via PDF is correct. I have replaced the program's default font (Arial) with Centenniel, but the problem persists.
