  1. Hi, Thank you for your response. I saved copies in a dedicated folder on the main drive. It's probably not possible for me to get the folders wrong, but your second suggestion is probable. However, this does not explain why I lost part of the project in the main file despite various security features. Unless I instinctively made some strange combination (perhaps an unusual keyboard command) that caused the file to revert to the state it was two days ago. Nevertheless, the behavior of the program was strange and disturbing. Now, for the sake of security, I additionally save copies to an external drive.
  2. Thank you for your response. I can guess that. However, I would like to know why the file during operation (almost two days, 10 hours each) as if reset to the state from two days ago. Despite autosave, manual saving. Moreover, why duplicates of this file (four files saved as separate copies to disk every few hours), they now look as if they were recorded in the state from two days ago, despite the difference of several hours, they do not differ from each other. Each time the file was closed. I am not a novice, I have been working as a freelance dtp for 25 years, and work with Publisher almost from the beginning. This is the first time this happened to me. Will I get any suggestions for the reasons?
  3. I'm working on a newspaper at Publisher, I have two days to go to print. Today the newspaper file is back to the state it was two days ago, so I lost almost all of my work. I did autosave, I also made four copies of this work, but they also dated two days ago (although I did the copies later). Is it possible to recover this work? Jozef Wroblewski
